Who Should Take This Class? This 12-week workout series is designed for women and moms looking for a gentler way to workout and gradually rebuild their core strength and stability.
*Thai Yoga Stretch Melt away stress and improve your core strength & flexibility with Thai Yoga Assisted Stretching. With guidance from the instructor, students will be paired up in class to learn and practice, hands-on Traditional Thai yoga stretch techniques. Invite your bestie to class and you can work on each other. This stress management class relieves trigger points & balances your flow of energy gentle meridian pressure point release with slow rocking stretches to unlock tight muscles and release stubborn muscle knots. We use thick raised temper-pedic, Shiatsu mats for your comfort. This class is guaranteed increase the flexibility of both the person being stretched and the stretch provider. Traditional Thai Yoga Stretch is often referred to as "Lazy yoga". Traditional Thai Thai yoga stretch is a form of moving meditation is a perfect way to unwind after a long and hectic week.
*Core Strength & Arm Balancing This Pilates mat/equipment class focuses on building a strong & sculpted upper body as you build the core strength and skills 4 arm balances. Get a toned, athletic Pilates body as you increase your core strength.
What Can I Expect ? We meet as a group 3-days a week. You will have 2 additional days of “home work”. Each workout is 50 minutes. The focus of your 1st month of training is core stabilization. We re-educate your core muscles and restoring abdominal strength, low back and pelvic support. On months two and three we start to incorporate weights (kettlebells, sand bags, medicine balls etc) and gradually increase strength, flexibility and cardiovascular endurance with varying sets and reps.
When Does Training Start? The training begins Saturday, October 2, 2017 and runs through Saturday, December 23, 2017.
How Large Are The Classes? Class size is small, max 8 students.
