![]() Today's outdoor workout was sheer perfection; we logged 3.9 miles! We sprinkled in a few hills, hopped a round of stadium stairs all while adding a wide variety of boot camp exercises to round out our total body workout. Great job ladies. :)

This is the last weekend of 2012. Upon reflection, how would you rate this year? Was it a "great year" or a "not so hot year"? What lessons from 2012 will you take along with you on your journey into 2013? How do you plan on ringing in the New Year? I plan on heading to the hills for a day of hiking and basking in the sun.

The competition was lots of fun. We worked hard preparing for it. It was so worth it! The Kettlebell Competition hosted by Leaf Fitness & Wellness in Santa Monica, Ca was a great success! My husband and I both won 1st place in our weight division and we acheived semi-pro status (CMS - Cadidate Master of Sports In Kettlebell Lifting). My husband acheived CMS - in Long Cycle and I acheived CMS - in Snatch. Stay tuned for the video. Thanks to the organizers for putting on an extremely professional meet.
